Jennifer and her partner are the parents of two awesome kids. Jennifer and her family navigate the world of living with FASD and facing systemic barriers as a team. Jennifer has been a mental health and addictions professional with extensive FASD training and experience for over sixteen years. Jennifer strives to reduce and eliminate barriers for people and families affected by FASD and other disabilities. Jennifer’s work and the role of Piruqatigiit is to support and advocate for Nunavummiut affected by FASD to receive equitable and accessible information, appropriate resources, accommodations and support from service providers and systems. Jennifer is the founding executive director for Piruqatigiit Resource Centre.
